Mandatory Training

As part of complying with Title IX, VAWA, SaVE and the Clery Act, the Department of Education (DOE) and the DOE’s Office of Civil Rights requires all university employees to participate in training each year regarding issues relating to dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.  Spring Arbor University welcomes the emphasis placed on reducing these societal problems and is happy to comply.

Thank you for taking time to learn more about these issues by reading the attached presentation. The most important information in the presentation is the definitions of terms and the duty to report situations to the Title IX Coordinator.  Kayla Knapp, our Title IX Coordinator, is available to answer any questions.
