The Account Activation process will create your SAU email account and may take up to two hours to complete.
- Students: Your SAU ID Number is located on the upper right corner of the email you received from the Office of Financial Aid. If you need help activating your account, please contact your admissions representative or site coordinator
- Alumni: Alumni cannot activate a new account here. If you had an account in the past that you are trying to access you should go to the "Reset Password and View Username" option and reset your password to see if your account is still enabled. SAU does not guarantee access to your closed account, but SAU IT can help you restore access temporarily if needed, especially if you need help migrating a social media account off of your SAU email. Alumni accounts are automatically disabled after a period of inactivity once you graduate. Your SAU ID number is needed to reset your password, and it is located on your ID card or on a bill or statement from SAU. If you are unable to reset your password your account is likely disabled, and you should reach out to us via email at [email protected] or by calling the helpdesk at 517-750-1234. If you don't know your ID number you should call the Registrar's office at 517-750-6516.
- Faculty and Staff: You cannot activate your account here. Your supervisor will provide you with your username.
