Spring Arbor University pays the premium on a life insurance policy for all regular full-time employees equal to one times the amount of annual salary with the University for the fiscal year.

Insurance is available to full-time employees for term life coverage in amounts of $10,000 increments.  $150,000 guaranteed issue for new employee under age 70 and $50,000 guaranteed issue for new employee's spouse under age 60.  The maximum amount available to employees up to age 70 is five times salary up to $500,000.  The maximum amount available to employee spouse's under age 60 is $250,000.  There is coverage available for dependent children in increments of $2,500 to a maximum of $10,000.  One rate is charged for all eligible dependent children up to age 26, if a full-time student.  All dependent children coverage includes a $1,000 benefit for each eligible child from 14 days up to 6 months of age.  All rates are published as non-smoking rates.
